The facility is offering a Certificate of Completion in the field of medical transcription that will position individuals in our diverse workforce communities for a rewarding career pathway in our increasingly global network and advanced technological society.

Medical Transcriptionists interpret and transcribe physician-dictated medical reports. These reports become a permanent part of the patient's medical record, which functions as an important document for further healthcare delivery, medicolegal and billing purposes. As long as people get sick, injured or visit medical personnel for amy reason there will be gainful employment for the medical transcriptionist. Medical transcription is a recession-proof career.

Medical Transcriptionists are employed in medical centers, general and specialty hospitals, physician offices, clinics and group practices, radiology and pathology offices, private medical transcription companies, government facilities, home offices, insurance companies and a variety of other institutions. There are numerous opportunities for full-time, part-time and flexible work schedules in the medical transcription profession.

Medical Transcription is a career that lends itself well to the entrepreneur spirit - a great technological and Internet home-based business opportunity.
